There are two methods of determining your belt size, Waist Size or True Length.
Waist Size
This is your pants size. If you’re not sure which method to use, go with this one.

True Length
True length will differ slightly from your pants size. For this method, we recommend measuring up another belt that fits you well.
We measure our belts from the middle of the buckle (usually where the pin intersects with the hole) to the first and last hole.
